Some Good News And Thoughts ~ Van Jones Is History

First, the happy news, it appears that the racist Marxist Green Jobs Czar Van Jones is history. One down ... about 35 (+-) and one illegal Kenyan to go. It would be wonderful to break the back of the Marxist shadow government created by Obamanation.

And it would be best if our Blessed Leader President Obamanation would remember at least a little of God's Holy Word:

"He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed." Psalms 22:8

I have a feeling this is just the beginning of our leader's woes. Our government's and mainstream media's continual desire to crush those of us who believe in freedom will bring only trouble to them. BUT, I pray that all the strife they will have heaped upon themselves brings them to eternal salvation before it's too late. Many times we must hit rock bottom before we look up and see Christ. I earnestly pray they all repent soon.

And our oppressor wannabe's need also remember that sharing the news about what's happening in our government IS NOT HATE SPEECH. Nor is it "bearing false witness" for a Christian to speak out about the Obamanation in our government. We must jump into the political arena and speak out against evil or people truly will suffer. When good does nothing, evil rules the day. Just look at Nazi Germany, and the Russians under Stalin. Cruelty and oppression can happen anywhere, even in America.

All people are suppose to "seek the truth" in all things. It helps keep us straight with God and know His will. To be oppressive is not a good course to take, whether it's religion, government, in family's, etc. Oppression kills our spirit.

I was accused of hate speech and bearing false witness against the Obamanation yesterday by a Christian now former supposed friend on Facebook. I'm glad I learned of his progressive leanings and mental illness early (for the letter I received from him reveals much about his moth-eaten soul). He was a weak link in the chain proclaiming freedom for all and needed to be culled from the herd. So, even though I am good at eviscerating, I released him into the wild with a prayer for his soul.

Differences of opinion don't concern me, but meanness does.

"Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave; Yes strife and reproach will cease." Psalms 22:10

Now this article is very good. I really like Mr. Krauthammer's take on the situation. He's always so calm and rational. The only thing is I hope it's not true that some version of 'healthcare' will pass. This whole 'healthcare' thing from the Obama Administration is so bogus, all the government wants is to control all of the economy and steal our freedoms. The politicians don't care about reforming health care 'cause if they did, they would elimiate Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc. So, I'm not buying their phony concern.

What happened to President Obama? His wax wings having melted, he is the man who fell to earth. What happened to bring his popularity down farther than that of any new president in polling history save Gerald Ford (post–Nixon pardon)?

The conventional wisdom is that Obama made a tactical mistake by farming out his agenda to Congress and allowing himself to be pulled left by the doctrinaire liberals of the Democratic congressional leadership. But the idea of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi pulling Obama left is quite ridiculous. Where do you think he came from, this friend of Chavista ex-terrorist William Ayers, of PLO apologist Rashid Khalidi, of racialist inciter Jeremiah Wright?

But forget the character witnesses. Just look at Obama’s behavior as president, beginning with his first address to Congress. Unbidden, unforced, and unpushed by the congressional leadership, Obama gave his most deeply felt vision of America, delivering the boldest social-democratic manifesto ever issued by a U.S. president. In American politics, you can’t get more left than that speech and still be on the playing field.

In a center-Right country, that was problem enough. Obama then compounded it by vastly misreading his mandate. He assumed it was personal. This, after winning by a mere seven points in a year of true economic catastrophe, of an extraordinarily unpopular Republican incumbent, and of a politically weak and unsteady opponent. Nonetheless, Obama imagined that, as Fouad Ajami so brilliantly observed, he had won the kind of banana-republic plebiscite that grants caudillo-like authority to remake everything in one’s own image.

Accordingly, Obama unveiled his plans for a grand makeover of the American system, animating that vision by enacting measure after measure that greatly enlarged state power, government spending, and national debt. Not surprisingly, these measures engendered powerful popular skepticism that burst into tea-party town-hall resistance.

Obama’s reaction to that resistance made things worse. Obama fancies himself tribune of the people, spokesman for the grass roots, harbinger of a new kind of politics from below that would upset the established lobbyist special-interest order of Washington. Yet faced with protests from a real grassroots movement, his party and his supporters called it a mob — misinformed, misled, irrational, angry, unhinged, bordering on racist. All this while the administration was cutting backroom deals with every manner of special interest — from drug companies to auto unions to doctors — in which favors worth billions were quietly and opaquely exchanged.

“Get out of the way” and “don’t do a lot of talking,” the great bipartisan scolded opponents whom he blamed for creating the “mess” from which he is merely trying to save us. If only they could see. So with boundless confidence in his own persuasiveness, Obama undertook a summer campaign to enlighten the masses by addressing substantive objections to his reforms.

Things got worse still. With answers so slippery and implausible and, well, fishy, he began jeopardizing the most fundamental asset of any new president — trust. You can’t say that the system is totally broken and in need of radical reconstruction, but nothing will change for you; that Medicare is bankrupting the country, but $500 billion in cuts will have no effect on care; that you will expand coverage while reducing deficits — and not inspire incredulity and mistrust. When ordinary citizens understand they are being played for fools, they bristle.

After a disastrous summer — mistaking his mandate, believing his press, centralizing power, governing left, disdaining citizens for (of all things) organizing — Obama is in trouble.

Let’s be clear: This is a fall, not a collapse. He’s not been repudiated or even defeated. He will likely regroup and pass some version of health-insurance reform that will restore some of his clout and popularity.

But what has occurred — irreversibly — is this: He’s become ordinary. The spell is broken. The charismatic conjurer of 2008 has shed his magic. He’s regressed to the mean, tellingly expressed in poll numbers hovering at 50 percent.

For a man who only recently bred a cult, ordinariness is a great burden, and for his acolytes, a crushing disappointment. Obama has become a politician like others. And like other flailing presidents, he will try to salvage a cherished reform — and his own standing — with yet another prime-time speech.

But for the first time since election night in Grant Park, he will appear in the most unfamiliar of guises — mere mortal, a treacherous transformation to which a man of Obama’s supreme self-regard may never adapt.

Announced nationalized health care "reform" that will strip seniors of their Medicare, cut pay of physicians, increase taxes yet another $1 trillion, and put everyone on rationed care with government bureaucrats deciding who gets care and who doesn't. If this bill passes, it's guarenteed to kill millions of Americans. Bloomberg: Daschle says, "Health care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them," while former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm says seniors have "a duty to die."
28. Created a shadow government with all his unappointed, non-elected "Czars" and refuses to admit that.
29. Has threatened all freedom loving persons through intimidation and fear tactics with his "fishy" compaign.

If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that the President, Senators and Congressmen have their own special gold plated health care plan which is guaranteed the remainder of their lives and they are not subject to this new law if they pass it.

We have an election coming up in one year and four months where we can reverse the dangerous direction of the Obama administration and its allies. In the interim, we can make their lives miserable. Another Attempt To Destroy Our Freedom Of Speech

Gosh, I'm tired of this evil government!! I wish they would get a life and quit trying to screw with mine (and yours).

Here's something else y'all need to be concerned about. They want to squish our freedom of speech and spew it out their backsides.

Y'all had better be concerned and keep writing (as Marydon sez put a stamp on it, e-mails are being ignored in some quarters), calling, PRAYING and anything else one can think of to fight this tyrannical government.

Obama White House Has Secret Plan To Harvest Personal Data From Social Networking Websites

NLPC has uncovered a plan by the White House New Media operation to hire a technology vendor to conduct a massive, secret effort to harvest personal information on millions of Americans from social networking websites.

The information to be captured includes comments, tag lines, emails, audio, and video. The targeted sites include Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube, Flickr and others – any space where the White House “maintains a presence.”

In the course of investigating procurement by the White House New Media office, NLPC discovered a 51-page solicitation of bids that was filed on Friday, August 21, 2009. Filed as Solicitation # WHO-S-09-0003, it is posted at FedBizzOps.com. Click here to download a 51-page pdf of the solicitation.

While the solicitation specifies a 12-month contract, it allows for seven one-year extensions. It specifies no dollar cap. Other troubling issues include:

extremely broad secrecy terms preventing the vendor from disclosing to the public or the media what information is being captured and archived (page 7, “Restriction Against Disclosure”)

----- wholesale capturing of comments by non-White House staff on publicly accessible sites

------ capturing of content of any type (text, graphics, audio, or video)

------ capturing of comments by both Obama critics and supporters, with no restriction as to how the White House would use the information.

This is the third controversy involving the White House internet operations in less than a month. First, Obama’s New Media operation asked supporters to send information about critics of the White House health care effort to a White House email. This provoked a storm of criticism and the White House retreated. Then large number of people complained of getting email spam from the White House supporting the President’s health care position. Again the White House was forced to back down.

Now the same people at the White House are at it again with an ambitious plan to harvest huge amounts of information from the web and specifically social networking sites.

Given the White House’s recent abuse of its New Media operations, this huge, new secretive program is yet another sign that this Administration is at best indifferent to privacy rights and at worst prepared to violate civil liberties for political purposes.

Perhaps anticipating negative reaction to the invasiveness of the plan, a justification is provided in a Q&A. section of the solicitation. Question #9 reads:

The Presidential Records Act does not require the storage or archiving of non-EOP content, as such is there a specific reason as to why the content provided on EOP related websites in the form of comments is included in these archiving procedures?

Answer: The PRA includes in its definition of presidential records content ―received by PRA components and personnel. Out of an abundance of caution, we are treating comments made by non-PRA personnel on sites on which a PRA component has a presence as presidential records, requiring them to be captured or sampled.

Of course, this interpretation of the Presidential Records Act is so expansive that virtually any communication mentioning the president or the Administration could become subject to collection and archiving under the Act. This is not out of an “abundance of caution,” but out of an over-abundance of power. President Obama should make sure that this plan goes no further.

Southern National Congress

Even as an avowed Libertarian (have been for about 8 years now - had a kind of Spiritual awakening, if you will) I'm really not much of a political person and have only recently heard of the Southern National Congress.

What or who are they?

Apparently, they are a group of men and women who will help the South maintain and exercise our sovereignty, if I have the wording correctly. I find this very encouraging. If the Marxists keep pushing our buttons, there's going to be conflict and the ARMED FORCES WILL BE ON OUR SIDE!

Well, alrighty then.

I received the 50 pocket US Constitutions I ordered from The Heritage. My husband and I are slowly passing them on to neighbors, law enforcement, church family, etc. People are very receptive to "the good news" as I call it. We must have a Godly law to live by (we have that in the Constitution) or there will be chaos and the bad guys will win.

We must not let that happen. There must be order and method.

I received what's below from another true Patriot and this has further encouraged me to feel that we are not alone in wanting to obey the US Constitution. So, I thought my fellow Southerners would find this edifying as well.

Resolution and Appeal (Review Draft)

To the Sheriffs, Police Agencies, Adjutants General, Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers of the National Guard and State Militias of the Fourteen Southern States

We the Delegates of the Southern States, in Congress assembled, find and affirm the following:

The Southern people have traditionally been strong supporters of the rule of law, properly founded upon impartial justice. Instructed by our history, culture, and religion, we grasp the nature of human evil and understand that threats to the commonwealth exist. They must be restrained, sometimes by force. This is the principal role of civil government, from which it derives its legitimacy under God and in covenant with the People. However, the Southern tradition does not embrace order at the expense of liberty. When government becomes lawless and despotic, it forfeits its legitimacy, and thereby the allegiance and obedience of citizens.

Southerners respect our uniformed public servants and honour their high calling to be protectors, not punishers. They are to be agents of justice, not injustice. Their powers, including the proper use of physical force, up to and including the use of deadly force, exist only as delegated to them by the People and are for the protection of the community, not its oppression and enslavement. This responsibility may include protecting the People from government officials when they act in a lawless and despotic manner.

We acknowledge the dilemma peace officers face when given wrongful orders by a rogue government. But the state is not exempt from the rule of law. Police have been confronted with such fundamental moral choices before, and history does not exonerate those who follow tyranny rather than God’s law and their own good consciences. “Just following orders” has never excused anyone for committing unlawful, cruel, or oppressive acts against innocent citizens.

We believe today’s emphasis on “law enforcement” is destructive to our society and changes the mission of police toward enforcing the will of the government upon the people rather than protecting and serving the public. Police procedures requiring abject, immediate obedience and deference under the threat of unwarranted force is unnecessarily demeaning and threatens the well-being of good citizens who may only have been accused of a minor violation or misdemeanor.

We believe most peace officers are rightly patriotic and dedicated to the welfare of the citizens in their jurisdictions. However, in these troubled times, converging challenges to public order – economic, social, and political -- may test as never before their fidelity to their oaths to uphold their State constitutions, the U.S. Constitution, and just laws made in pursuance thereof.

We now suffer under a regime in Washington that treats Americans as if they were the enemy. Its open contempt of the rule of just law demonstrate that “national security” is a pretext for grasping unlimited power. Its increasingly unconstitutional and unlawful acts, including the militarization of local police, are ignored or abetted by the Congress and insufficiently restrained by the courts, which are supposed to safeguard our freedom.

Today law-making is no longer rooted in timeless Godly principles, but is the prize of the highest bidder, especially the moneyed interests whose vast sums have purchased a compliant Congress that scarcely bothers to read the bills brought before it. As government increasingly puts itself above the law, raw power and greed have become the coin of realm. The deterioration of law as an institution demands greater moral courage on the part of law enforcement officials. They must be more steadfast, not less, in keeping their oaths of office. More than ever, they must know and understand the Constitution they have sworn to defend.

We note with alarm the preparations by Federal authorities for massive unconstitutional acts in the event of a national emergency, which the Government itself may declare at will. Such acts may include unleashing the Armed Forces on the population in violation of posse comitatus and habeas corpus, and mass arrests of citizens for dissident speech, public assembly, or political associations, even though these are fully protected by the Bill of Rights of the Constitution.

Police and military officers who obey unlawful orders and take part in suppressing liberty no longer possess any legitimacy. In the event of civil strife, which their acquiescence to despotism will have partly caused, they must not expect obedience, much less the deference they now demand, from an oppressed, aroused, irate, yet armed citizenry.

Therefore, in light of the foregoing findings and affirmations, and in the name of the Southern People, we appeal to all law enforcement officials, the National Guard, and State militias to:

Remember whom you serve. Remember your oath. Remember that your moral authority comes from loyalty to the safety and well-being of the People and the commonwealth, not loyalty to the temporary occupants of political or judicial office.

Practice and demonstrate moral courage, especially in troubled times when it is needed most.

Defend the lives, property, and liberty of the citizens in your jurisdiction from all threats, even that of the lawless state, and treat them with as respect and dignity.

Interpose yourself when necessary between the People and open acts of tyranny by Federal or State officials.

Refuse any order to disarm citizens or in any way restrict their lawful means of self defence.

Refuse to conduct warrantless searches of citizens, or of their homes, vehicles, papers, or effects; for example, house-to house searches for weapons or persons.
Refuse to participate in mass arrests or to obey an order to detain citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to trial by military tribunal without due process of law.

Refuse to obey orders to impose martial law or a state of emergency on a State, or to enter with force into a State or County, without the express consent of the governor or sheriff, respectively.

Refuse orders to invade and subjugate any State that asserts its sovereignty and declares the national government to be in violation of the compact by which that State entered the Union.

Refuse orders to force citizens into any form of Federal detention camp under any pretext.

Refuse to confiscate the property of citizens, including food and other essential supplies, during a natural disaster or under a declared national emergency or similar pretext.

Respect the right of the People to free speech and worship, to assemble peaceably, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

Questions We Want Obama To Answer NOW!

Just A Conservative Girl very graciously posted these at her web site recently. I am busier than a one-armed paperhanger today, so, I just cut and pasted the list for y'all in case you missed Glenn's show last Friday.

We are fighting for our very economic lives here folks. Gosh, I hope everyone is paying attention. I'm not doing this because I like politics (I don't) but want deseperately for our country to be saved from this evil presence in the White House.

And remember folks, the Federal census is coming in April. For goodness sake, don't complete it! I'm only filling out our names and ages ... THAT'S IT!! Not even race. - The Apollo Alliance claimed credit for writing the stimulus bill—why was this group allowed to write any portion of this bill?

- If politicians aren’t writing the bills and aren’t reading the bills, do they have any idea what these 1000 page plus bills actually impose on the American people?

- If the ‘public option’ health care plan is so good why won’t politicians agree to have that as their plan?

- If town hall meetings are intended for the politicians to learn what’s on our mind—why do they spend so much time talking instead of listening?

- Politicians are refusing to attend town hall meetings complaining, without evidence, that they are scripted. Does that mean we shouldn’t come out and vote for you since every campaign stop, baby kiss and speech you give is scripted?

- Why would you want to overwhelm the system?

- Is using the economic crises to rush legislation through congress what Rahm Emanuel meant when he talked about "not letting a crises go to waste"?

- What are the czars paid? What is the budget for their staffs/offices?

Let us all question with boldness. This is a government of "We the People" it is time that they answer to the people.

If you get a chance to attend a town hall soon, ask some of these questions and report on the answers that you get. I am interested in hearing the answers.

THE ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE OBAMACARE

As a physician who has authored books on preventative health care, I was given the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at a Congressional Dinner at The Capitol Building in Washington last Friday (7/17).

The presentation was entitled Health Care Reform, The Power & Profit of Prevention, and I was gratified that it was well received.

In preparation for the presentation, I read the latest version of "reform" as authored by The Obama Administration and supported by Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid. Here is the link to the 1,018 page document.

Let me summarize just a few salient points of the above plan. First, however, it should be clear that the same warning notice must be placed on The ObamaCare Plan as on a pack of cigarettes: Consuming this product will be hazardous to your health.

The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care. There is no focus on preventing health care need whatever. The plan's method is the most inhumane and unethical approach to cutting costs I can imagine as a physician.

The rationing of care is implemented through The National Health Care Board, according to the plan. This illustrious Board "will approve or reject treatment for patients based on the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment."

Translation ... if you are over 65 or have been recently diagnosed as having an advanced form of cardiac disease or aggressive cancer ... dream on if you think you will get treated ... pick out your coffin.

Oh, you say this could never happen? Sorry ... this is the same model they use in Britain.

The plan mandates that there will be little or no advanced treatments to be available in the future. It creates The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research, the purpose of which is "to slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce costs." Yes, this is to be the law.

The plan also outlines that doctors and hospitals will be overseen and reviewed by The National Coordinator For Health Information and Technology.

This "coordinator" will "monitor treatments being delivered to make sure doctors and hospitals are strictly following government guidelines that are deemed appropriate." It goes on to say ... "Doctors and hospitals not adhering to guidelines will face penalties."

According to those in Congress, penalties could include large six figure financial fines and possible imprisonment.

So according to The ObamaCare Plan ... if your doctor saves your life you might have to go to the prison to see your doctor for follow-up appointments. I believe this is the same model Stalin used in the former Soviet Union. [my emphasis]

Section 102 has the Orwellian title, "Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage." What this section really mandates is that it is illegal to keep your private insurance if your status changes - e.g., if you lose or change your job, retire from your job and become a senior, graduate from college and get your first job. Yes, illegal.

When Mr. Obama hosted a conference call with bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible, a blogger from Maine referenced an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance.

He asked: "Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?" Mr. Obama replied: "You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about." [Ok, Obama, then who the heck is you commie dirt bag!?]

Then there is Section 1233 of The ObamaCare Plan, devoted to "Advanced Care Planning." After each American turns 65 years of age they have to go to a mandated counseling program that is designed to end life sooner.

This session is to occur every 5 years unless the person has developed a chronic illness then it must be done every year. The topics in this session will include, "how to decline hydration, nutrition and how to initiate hospice care." It is no wonder The Obama Administration does not like my emphasis on Prevention. For Mr. Obama, prevention is the "enemy" as people would live longer.

I rest my case. The ObamaCare Plan is hazardous to the health of every American.

After I finished my Capitol Hill presentation, I was asked by a Congressman in the question-answer session: "I'll be doing a number of network interviews on the Obama Health Care Plan. If I am asked what is the one word to describe the plan what should I answer."

The answer is simple, honest, direct, analytical, sad but truthful. I told him that one word is FASCIST. [I like this Doctor very much!!]

Then I added, "I hope you'll have the courage to use that word, Congressman. No other word is more appropriate."

BTW, for some of you who have not been watching the Glenn Beck show on Fox News this week, he brought something to my attention that I never thought of. Did you know that if Obama didn't write this or other bills, and none of our Senators or Congressmen wrote these bills (since they haven't read them we assume they are not guilty of this), who is writing these facist bills they are trying to pass on the American public??! You know who? One of them is the avowed Maxist Facist Radical Mr. Van Jones, for one. And many other of the Obama appointed "Czars" are avowed Marxists.

The Czars eco-skelton that's going to take over our government at the first sign of weakness.

A New Madam Trillion Dollar Deficit

I guess you hear that Madam Deficit (i.e. His Royal Lowness Obama) has declared that our national debt has been bumped up to $9 TRILLION DOLLARS!? And they want to take control of our health care??!!

I'm a bit of an amateur historian. This morning we watched the special on History International called "The French Revolution" (1789–1799). The show explained how the politically impudent King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette where overthrown by the common people. In a nut shell, it's how the nobility lived high on the hog, the cost of flour sky rocketed from high taxes and famine causing the average people to starve to death. The economy was in shambles.

Having had enough, the down trodden people called for "an enlightenment" and stampeded the government, taking it apart (literally) brick by brick.

It was the end of monarchies in France, but it led from one tyranny to another.

There's a lot of parallels between what happened in pre-French Revolution and what's happening here now.

Our country is deeply (irrevocably?) in debt. We feel like our politicians are NOT listening to us. Even my beloved Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) who has faithfully voted against the Pres. George W. Bush 'stimulus' plan, has been making some statements about this Healthcare debacle that really has me riled. Now he feels like he can school us on how to eat to reduce costs!? "Excuse me!? Get the heck out of my life Jack!" I'm tired of others thinking that they are better than us and can tell us how to live.

I very much fear that because of the ineptitude's of this administration and the previous one, we are heading for another Civil War.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope you'll join me in prayer that our 'revolution' will be a velvet one ... peaceful and lawful. We still have the Constitution of the United States. I believe in this documents words with all my heart because it reflects God's word in it's equalities and common sense.

I believe this so wholeheartedly that I've ordered at my own expense 50 pocket US Constitutions to carry around and hand out to those interested. They are available from The Heritage Foundation.


Be careful, you politians, that you don't utter "Let them eat cake" for I fear this will cause many to storm the gates and demand some heads on a stick next elections.

Now Frommer's Calling Us Names!

As all my friends know, I'm a strong pro-carry person. I always carry a gun, even on the motorcycle. It's everyone's right as a law abiding American Citizen to be armed. I think this is especially important for women to be properly protected. There's been a couple of times that simply a quick branishing of the weapon has kept a possible 'perp' from getting out of hand.

Now it seems that Arthur Fromer of Frommer's Travel Guides, thinks that because I, and many other patriotic citizens, carry weapons we are "thugs" and "extremists". Well, I take exception to that and am deeply offended. I will never use his travel books again! And we travel frequently.

Just thought y'all might want to know about this little development.

PHOENIX — Travel icon Arthur Frommer says he won't be spending his tourism dollars at the Grand Canyon, or anywhere else in Arizona, because the state's laws allow people he described as "thugs" and "extremists" to openly carry firearms.

The author of budget-travel guides said on his blog Wednesday that he was "shocked beyond measure" by reports that protesters openly carried guns and rifles outside a Phoenix building where President Barack Obama spoke on Monday.

Frommer says he won't personally travel in a state where civilians carry loaded weapons as a means of political protest.

Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon says he spoke with Frommer Thursday and invited him to visit the city to clear up any possible misconceptions about safety.

Something that the Obama Administration will not allow American oil companies to do. Stranger still Billionaire George Soros has invested 800 million dollars in Petrobras for this project. George Soros has funded all this liberal enterprises like ACORN.

Our prayers are being heard! I have been on a self-imposed 'fasting' and praying stint for our country and situation. Please, keep praying dear Saints in Christ! God loves us SO MUCH and hears our prayers! He is working miracles. Even though our country certainly doesn't deserve mercy for allowing the murder of untold thousands of unborn and other things, Jesus is graciously showing great compassion to us.

The Lesser-Magistrate Doctrine

I received this in an e-mail from my husband last night. Isn't that funny? We sit right next to each other with our seperate labtops and he sends me an e-mail! How modern is that!? [lol]

This is a good read folks. Very, very encouraging. I feel like, if we keep spreading the good word and having Hope there will be a happy resolution. We will not tolerate any fascism that Mr. Obuma and his thugs keep trying to force on the American people.


The Lesser-Magistrate Doctrine:
A Sword Against Unjust Edicts and Tyranny

Many Americans seem to know that America's founders gave us three boxes through which we can resist tyranny, namely - the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box. But a lesser-known tool which the founders themselves employed is the lesser-magistrate doctrine.

Simply put, the lesser-magistrate doctrine declares that - when a magistrate, who is lower in authority than another higher authority, opposes and/or resists the unjust orders or laws of the higher authority, he is justified in doing so and his actions are morally right, proper, and legitimate.

For example, if Congress or the President makes an unjust or immoral edict, a state legislature or the governor could stand in defiance of their unjust edict and refuse to obey or implement it. They could in fact actively oppose it. Or for that matter, a city council or mayor could act in defiance or opposition of an unjust edict by a higher authority.

The lesser-magistrate doctrine became important to Christian men during the Reformation, though it had been spoken of and practiced prior to that by Christians. For example, the Magna Carta was written by a group of barons (lesser-magistrates) who had the tyrant King John of England sign it in the year 1215 at Runneymede, which is located southwest of London.

This great document which stands in defiance of tyranny and oppression by making clear that the State has limitations and that all are subject to the law – people and state officials alike - was penned by Christian men.

Calvin spoke of the lesser-magistrate doctrine in his Institutes of the Christian Religion. Amazingly, he did not appeal to Scripture in his support of it, rather he appealed to pagan historical examples. But other Reformers did give a Scriptural foundation to the doctrine.

John Knox for example, in his Appellation written to the nobles of Scotland in 1558, cites many passages to support the doctrine. Knox wrote his appellation (appeal) to the nobles because the Roman church had condemned him and burned him in effigy. He wrote to declare to the nobles, as lesser-magistrates, their responsibility in protecting the innocent and opposing those who had made unjust decrees.

Knox makes it clear that it is the duty of lesser-magistrates to resist the tyranny of chief magistrates when the chief magistrate exceeds his God-given authority or actually makes declarations which are in rebellion to the law of God.

He exhorts the nobles (lesser-magistrates) in his Appellation, "You are bound to correct and repress whatsoever you know him (the higher magistrate) to attempt expressly repugning to God's word, honor, glory, or what you shall espy him to do against his subjects great or small."

Some of the Scripture texts Knox cites to expound on the lesser-magistrate doctrine are Daniel 3; I Kings 12; II Kings 11; and Jeremiah 26:10-16; 36:9-31; 37:11- 21 & 39:7-10.

The lesser-magistrate doctrine had a huge impact upon the thinking of our founders, and upon our nation's people regarding government and law. We however live in the midst of a statist, slave-like people where such thinking has long been forgotten. The magistrates themselves know nothing of this doctrine today because the pulpits have long been silent regarding it.

If ever this nation needs to understand the lesser-magistrate doctrine, it is now. Immoral and unjust edicts are commonplace. The preborn are being murdered, and sodomy is being proliferated. The assault upon our freedom and liberties is a daily undertaking by those in high office. The attacks upon the law of God are ferocious and relentless.

In our nation today, the State has declared good to be evil and evil to be good. The lesser-magistrate has a duty before God to uphold the good regardless of the new definitions created by the State.

We must remember that all authority is delegated. No man who holds State office rules autonomously. The authority he has is delegated to him by God. Hence, all those in positions of authority stand accountable to God. This is why the practice of the church historically has been – when the State commands that which God forbids or forbids that which God commands, we have a duty to obey God rather than man. The Bible clearly teaches this principle.

The lesser-magistrate is to apply this principle to his office as magistrate. When an unjust edict is made by a higher authority, the lesser-magistrate must choose to either join the higher magistrate in his rebellion against God, or stand with God in opposition to the unjust edict.

As our nation sinks more and more into rebellion and depravity, the lesser-magistrate doctrine needs to be taught more than ever. May the Lord grant us the strength and favor to do so.

Sheriff Mack On "Treasure's Lost"

I received the video below from a blogging buddy today and thought y'all might wanna hear this also.

Sheriff Mack is the former sheriff of Graham County, Arizona. To quote him from his web site "Right now, it is vital that we restore the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. The greatest threat we face today is not terrorists; it is our own federal government. If America is conquered or ruined it will be from within, not a foreign enemy."

He certainly is a man with courage in my book. I have been so concerned about what's going to happen if/when ACORN or the EPA show up on our property, armed and dangerous. Under the Cap and Trade and other bills, this will be legal! ACORN will also be used to take the Federal Census! ACORN!! The Left hand of the Democratic party. I'm not makin' this stuff up folks. Hubby and I have discussed the possibility of these events at the supper table and decided we are going to fight to defend our homes and lives. We not lawbreakers, never have been, but this is a hill we will die on.
