this vine is our nemesis in Florida.... we have trees covered in them, light poles covered and they even hang from the wires... they will cover your entire yard in 1 year and if left for a couple or more years the property will disapear from sight. we also have the Virginia creeper. hubby is allergic to the juice when they are cut and has to go to the doctor.
My cousins and sister and I used to put those flowers on our fingers and call them "witches fingers". LOL. That's when we were very little on the farm in PA. The only witches we knew about was on the Wizard of Oz. I think they are much too beautiful to belong to witches now. LOL.
Hummingbirds really like these flowers. Very invasive vine so be careful where you plant them.
