Another Federal Holiday And A Recap

And, as if you must be reminded, this is paid-in-full by ALL taxpayers.

Is there any way we Americans can renegotiate this 'contract'??

I Want All Your Money

And now for a re-cap of Mr. Obama's first two weeks.

1, The American people elect a black president with a total of 42 days experience as a U. S. Senator from the most politically corrupt state in America whose governor is ousted from office. The President's first official act is to close Gitmo and make sure Terrorists civil rights are not violated.

2, The U.S. Congress rushes to confirm an Attorney General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen Gitmo Terrorists.

3, The CIA Boss, Leon Panetta, with absolutely no experience and anti-CIA leanings, has a daughter Linda we find out, that is a true radical anti-American activist who is a supporter of all the Anti-American regimes in the western hemisphere.

4. We got the most corrupt female in America as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton; bought and paid for.

5. We got a tax cheat, Tim Geithner, for Treasury Secretary who files his own taxes.

6. Bill Richardson, a Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges.

7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges.

8. A Labor Secretary nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct.

9. A Secretary Health and Human Services nominee who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes.

And that's just the first two weeks ... but who's counting. Not the liberal news media, that's for sure!

America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges ~ Barack, Nancy and Harry ~ and they are still trying to define "stimulus". Maybe they could put it in pill form to make it easier to swallow?

Stimulus is where the government gives a smidgen of your tax dollars back to you making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated] that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch Telemundo!

  1. You fired both barrels of your shotgun today. Good review of a pathetic start. I read where Obama's approval rating was at 60%, but the same poll said 60% of Americans said we are going in the wrong direction. Futher proof of a dysfunctional nation.

  2. So sad for American. This President's Day I wonder how many of them are turning over in their graves.

I tried to find Chalk Garden on Netflix but they didn't have it. You sold it totally. I was looking forward to watching it.

    Love the Irish decor!

  3. Hi Carey, Yeah I was locked and loaded today. And the polls do confuse me. Do many people not make the connection between "doing" and "saying" anymore? Maybe that's it.

Hi Stevie! I think the only way to watch it is buy the DVD for $30 ($$cha-ching$$) or follow the link to the movie at YouTube and watch the 13 uploads someone put there. Tedious watching it on the internet but it's free. It's a lovely movie. I hope you enjoy it too.

    Have a great day! ♥ ∞

  5. Great minds think alike, Sparky! It is a sad, sad state of the union. So many fooled by so few. What will it take for America to open her eyes and shake her fist and say, "I'M NOT TAKING THIS ANY MORE!"?

  6. It is very discouraging. It would be bad enough if he'd only done what he'd said he was going to do. Add the corrupt people he's appointing, not to mention all the same old politicians as in the past, and it seems like a crash and burn situation. (Just because I was excited to see the President of the United States does not mean I agree with what this particular one is doing).

  7. Can't wait to see what the rest of his tenure will be like. I sure have enjoyed the first few weeks. Some of that would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Pappy

  8. Yes, the sad state of the union. I don't even want to turn on the news.

Thanks for bringing the buckets. I learned that I don't have any buckets so I'm using a cake carrying lid by turning it upside down. I'm so not pioneer woman. ha ha The repair guy called and just finished his last housecall and is on the way! Yeah! My hubby came home early too so I wouldn't have to do it alone. Thank you for your prayers, I REALLY appreciate it!

  13. Sparky, so good to see someone telling it like it is. I've wanted to blog on the stimulus plan, but - but - it's just so huge, I feel like, where do I even start? I read that after that plan, our debt will exceed the GDP of the ENTIRE PLANET!!! So many Americans want government to do everything for them. Whatever happened to freedom and responsibility? I agree with you 100%.
