Tan Lines And The Weather

funny pictures of cats with captions
more animals

The weather has been so yucky here of late. I would welcome even odd tan lines right now.

I'm sitting here, waiting for the doctor's office to call about my soon to be neck surgery. It's almost lunch time people! (Have they forgotten? Lost my phone number? Should I call them??)

[pacing the floor]

And it just rains ... and rains ... and gets colder ... then it's overcast ... then it rains again. So depressing.

[heavy sigh] [more pacing]

Could someone pretty pleeeeeze with sugar on top send some warmth and sunshine!!? I need to get out of this house! I need to get some delta breeze on my knees! It sure would cheer me up to no end! For me, motorcycling is my 'drug' ... my therapy in a world of tedium and madness. Going without the wind in my face for too long makes me weird(er). HA!

Oh, by the way, the above photo of the very cute kitty is from a fun website with a silly name: Lolcats 'n Funny Pictures of Cats. I've bookmarked it for future, um, 'reference'. [smile]

Stay tuned Sports Fans ...

*** UPDATE AT 3:20 PM - Doctors office said the surgery will be February 4th (Wednesday). The 'procedure' will be out-patient! Too cool! :o))) I like sleeping in my own bed. ***

I feel ya. Back with the high gas prices, I really started to get antsy because I couldn't afford to go anywhere, and that is about all that keeps me sane! Anyway, I hope things get better for you and you can get back to your therapy.

ooohh I don't think I can help, we had fog here forever (a week) and then it cleared off not by rain (typical) but snow and I was thrilled!!! Sick and demented eh? Spring will be here soon enough and we can ride and ride and ride.... (Although I must admit, before the snow I was dreaming of Dirt and his motorsickle to ride me out of the/my fog.)

Hang in there (I'm sure they've got a cat pic for that!!!)

Sorry, dear friend..it is quite chilly here in ALABAMA with rain on the way. I am with ya..I sure wish it would warm up, it sure was nice a couple of days ago. Nice to wear short sleeves and turn the heat off.

Here Kitty, kitty ... careful there ... we have 3 dawgs that love to, uh, escort any cats that haplessly wander our way. [giggle, snort] (Thanks for the best wishes.) ♥ ∞

Are you eagerly waiting for spring, too? I know I am. I figure by the time it gets warm, I might be able to fit into my summer clothes again..yay!

I'm glad you got a date set for your surgery. I have my PLU class that day, so in between learning about bullies, I'll be thinking about you - with one having absolutely nothing to do with the other.

Hey there Sparky! If I'd a know'd you wasz a motorcycle gal, I'd a bin round sooner. We had an '85 KZ650 a few years back.
(Can't get this Museswings mystery talk out of my mouth, sorry!)

I'm not the biker in the family - that's my husband, but we had to sell the bike because we were short of case. Oh well!

You've got lots of rain, huh? We've got a forecast of snow, snow, snow for the next 7 days. (Like I say to my mom, "Every day of winter gets us one day closer to Spring.)

Stop in to Poetikat's and check me out. I'm signing up to follow you, I'd be pleased if you'd consider following me.

Hi Poetikat! Welcome to my blog. Thanks for following me. I am humbled and honored. I'll try not to let you down with boring posts. I want to follow yours too but my vision is too dim to read the font and it stretches off the page (these silly puters). I'll keep dropping by though. God bless! ♥ ∞

Well, that's good that you got the date for surgery. That's not too far off and hopefully then you'll be good as new and ready to ride your motorcycle down here where it's WARM!!! I'm blowing sunshine your way, instead of kisses.
