“I sometimes feel I have nothing to say, and I want to communicate this.”
-- Damien Hirst
You're been warned. *grin*
That pretty much sums up my feelings for this post. After the carport renovations, it’s been dull as dishwater in this neck of the woods.
Riding has been unattainable lately. Seems I’ve twisted my right knee. It’s developed this lovely popping, burning and hurting act. I appreciate the man that created Aleve. (What a life safer!) My husband is in the same pitiful situation. I suspect this is a result of the four or so days of standing on solid concrete floors, climbing ladders, swinging the paint roller around, moving the new cabinets into place, and so forth. Our situation has put any motorcycling activities on temporary hold.
All work -- No play -- makes Sparky --something-- --something--.
Ok, it’s not that bad. *lol* At least it's finally Fall. My favorite time of the year. More than likely I'll be up and cruising in a few days. And I’m only being lazy by not penning any correspondence. I suffer from these temporary episodes of brain freeze in the blogging department. I am enjoying everyone else's writings though.
Anyway, that’s my situation at the moment.
If you're still awake, hope your evening is blessed.
Sorry to hear you and your husband are not well, Sparky. Praying for you both. Hope you get well soon.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need a bike to ride to my Blog. I'll try to keep you smiling. Thank you for your many return visits.
Sadly, the video you posted is not available outside the USA.
God bless you and your husband.
Cute post about your frustration, the pain, not being able to ride. But fear not, you will ride again and Fall is here.
ReplyDeleteAWWWWWWWWWWWWW......Cute post, Sparky....love Marge. Hope your knee issues go away sooner than later. Thanks for the smiles. Blessings
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for joining the Pity Party. *giggle* And I do apologize that the Simpson's video doesn't play in England. I didn't realize their where virtual borders as well as physical ones. ~:)
ReplyDeleteMy drug of choice--Aleve! It's not the numbers that makes aging difficult it's the body falling apart--RIGHT, Sparky?
ReplyDeleteWeekend Blessings, Friend!
It's probably copyright reasons, Sparky. Some You Tube videos I put on my Blog are not available in the USA either.
ReplyDeleteI love the Simpsons. Homer is a great role model.
God bless.
I don't think anyone could ever accuse you of being boring or tedious, Sparky...
ReplyDelete*clip* *clip*
Sorry, I was just taking care of the toe nails. Where were we?
Hope you both are back in the saddle soon. I've thrown out my back before while brushing my teeth (true story:) at least you have a remodel to die for out of it!
Hey Jerry! Watch where you let those things fly!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are both in the wars. Be careful out there!! xx
ReplyDeleteYou have the expression, 'a day late and a dollar short?' That is me, late to post. Ouch on the knee and I can totally understand. With all you two have done, it is no wonder. Rest, take it easy and you will be on the road again soon.
ReplyDeleteGreetings. (Just to show I have been here again).
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visits to my Blog, Sparky.
God bless you and yours.
Take care, my friend. A few days of rest and I know you'll be back to normal.
ReplyDeleteHave you heard this one?
ReplyDeleteQ. How is writing a blog like keeping a pet crocodile?
A. You have to feed them both every day.
Feel better!
Alec
I pray that you and your husband are now feeling better. You're missed in Blogland, Sparky.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you all.
