There is a Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher nesting in our yard! So far, I've spotted a Summer Tanager, Orchard Oriole, Blue Grosbeak, and several other unusual sightings. I can't get over what a variety of wildbirds are hanging around this year. As we used to say in the '80s, "Totally Awesome". *lol*

If time be sure to check out the other photos while at Photobucket. Hubby snapped several of Hummingbirds too.
Those are all beautiful birds,a joy to see.
ReplyDeleteSqueal!!! On my way to see them now. I saw a tanager for the first time last year. Absolutely gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore the hummer photos especially.
ReplyDeleteWe are bird lovers here too. My hummingbird feeders have been out nearly a month, and not a hummer to be seen.....yet. Also have the finch feeder full, and the regular bird feeder for all the others out and full. Loved the pictures and the nest for the gnatcatcher. Sleep good tonight.
ReplyDeleteLOVE my birds. There is a neighborhood cat roaming around stalking the nests, but I have seen the mocking birds dive bombing her. Serves her right!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! We're back down to highs in the 40s up here. Nest building on hold.
ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky to have so many wonderful birds visiting you. We don't have any. I believe it is because of our neighbour. She looks so terrifying that the birds have returned all the seeds they took last year. My cat climbs up the tree in fear whenever she's around. And I hide in the trash can.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
@Victor ~ Please ... I can't .... catch ... my .... breath .... You're really ruining my desire to be grumpy today. :) Stop making me laugh!
ReplyDeleteHope your day is a blessed one. ~:)
I speak the truth. The woman is so ugly there's no chance I'll ever covet my neighbour's wife. Nor his donkey; because he hasn't any. But he has a top of the range sports car!
ReplyDeleteProbably to get away from her.
God bless.
That bird looks so pretty! Also, it looks like his nest is a hydrangea, doesn't it (though I know,,, it ISN"T)!!
