Less Electricity = New Fee In Missouri
This is one of those "you're not gonna believe this!!"
The residents of Missouri who use less energy than average will be charged a new fee on their utility bills.
The purpose of the fee? Why, to promote using less energy, of course!! Now, would anyone use less energy if one was charged extra for doing so!?
Huh!!!????
Yeah, de be stoopid, and you can read the whole story here.

2 years ago when there was little rain in Ga and the lakes and streams were low they wanted us to pay more money the next year for using less water. Talk about insanity:)

Insane and things like this anger me!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you two are doing well. We're still getting a little rain - YEAH!
The world has gone mad
ReplyDeleteJoyce ~ Now that you mention that, I remember how silly that was. Hope the government didn't make y'all pay more. Our leaders are so corrupt now ...
ReplyDeleteMildred ~ They anger me too. We need to stay that way 'cause I heard that the government is hoping we'll all roll over and play dead, just give up. Well all I say is "HA!! No Way!" We're just getting started with the outrages 'cause there's an election in 2010 and lots of politians are going into the dustbin of history. "HA!" [finger snap]
Iva ~ Indeedy, it sure seems so. But I believe that sanity will prevail. We'll just keep speaking sense and eventually maybe there will be more COMMON SENSE in our country.
God bless! :o)
