Texas Rocks!

Gruene, Texas

The above photo was taken in Gruene (pronounced "Greene") a German town near San Antonio.

We are home from the two week Texas Hill Country vacation. We dragged in about 2:00 pm today with our motorcycles in tow. Whew. What a long drive! Especially when towing over 2,000 pounds across uneven pavement for countless miles. The trip was happily uneventful though. So no complaints (at least, no loud complaints ... ha ha).

Anyway, here's a link to all the photos from the trip: MyPhotoAlbum . I may still be labeling some of them, so, if in doubt as to where we were, feel free to ask.

Now we can't wait to go back again!

  6. Todays Gallop poll: 90% of democrats approve of the job President Obama is doing, only 27% of repugs approve. I won't stoop to your level and call you stupid the way you called me, I'll just say you are sadly misinformed. It's simply jealousy that keeps you people from seeing how much of the country backs our President, yes he is doing a great job. And just think its only been 78 days!

  7. Sue,
    If the shoe fits...
Obama's popularity is strangely like Adolf Hitler's. He was elected by a majority in Germany after bad economic times. He was enormously popular and embraced fascism as our now current President is leading us.
BTW, if you don't want to comment on this subject, go comment somewhere else.

  8. The nice thing about America is we are allowed to differ in our opinions and still be friends. I'll stay out of the political frays and say it's good to have you home again! I'll be back a little later to enjoy your pictures. The reason for hanging boots on the fence post eludes me but there is one.

  9. Hi Musey
I agree in that we can still be friends. It's just that Sue creature wants to follow people around and fight and be a bully. I don't care if someone wants to disagree (hell, I ain't perfect) but I won't take bullying from anyone. Ever.
Yeah, the boots on the fence post puzzled me. I think the owners were just trying to be funny. Well, it worked! We laughed about it.
Thanks for stopping by y'all! :o) Have a happy Passover and Good Friday. God bless.
