Postcard Friendship Friday (02/27)

Georgia is our absolute, hands down, favorite State. We love living here.

But our second favorite State is Texas. Texas folks are some of the best in the world and there are so many fun things to do there! We try to visit every year. So, we've been planning our Texas Hill Country trip for this Spring and I thought this would be a nice card to post today. Just once I would like to see the Blue Bonnets in full bloom. [sigh]

Postcard Friendship Friday is hosted by my friend Marie at Voila! Vintage Postcards. Pay her lovely blog a visit if y'all have time.

Have a happy day!

  6. It's nice of you to acknowledge there are other states besides Georgia! I myself prefer the state of suspension. Happy PFF Spark!

  7. Wow, what a fun card! I'm sooo not pioneer woman but I'd love to go and see all the sites. Don't think I could live the ranch life though. ha ha

  8. Glad to hear you two are headed our way. I hope we get some rain soon, so the bluebonnets will really bloom this year. When I was going to school in Del Rio, Texas one of our main sports rivals was
the Kerrville Tivy Antlers. Since we were the Rams, we butted heads a lot. I remember dislocating my finger and getting punched in the nose through my face mask during one football game. Ah, such fond memories.

  9. Well, this is fun! I have some old postcards... now if I can learn how to use the new scanner I could play too! By the way, I loved your firsts post, but it wouldn't let me comment. I married my first love. Makes things a lot easier :)My dad broke my heart too. Still wish I could talk to him, tho.

  12. Hi y'all, Thanks for stopping by! Texas is great. "It's a whole other country." :o)

Pappy, We have dates and places all fixed. Feel free to e-mail me (it's at my Profile page). It would be super if you and Bebe and maybe Carey and family could join us for supper or a ride or something. We're driving my Jeep Liberty with our 2 wheels on a trailer. Hope you're feeling better. ♥ ∞

  13. Thank you so much for your prayers. I love Georgia too. I will be going to Texas Wednesday for a meeting for a few days. I lived there a few months back in the 60's and it was not so fun. We had no car, no tv, no phone. Thank the Lord for now!!!!! Cute postcard
