A Poem On Palm Sunday
When I stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ
And He shows me His plan for me;
The plan of my life as it might have been
Had He had His way, and I see
How I blocked Him here and checked Him there
And I would not yield my will,
Shall I see grief in my Savior’s eyes;
Grief though He loves me still?
Oh, He’d have me rich, and I stand there poor,
Stripped of all but His grace,
While my memory runs like a hunted thing
Down the paths I can’t retrace.
Then my desolate heart will well-nigh break
With tears that I cannot shed.
I’ll cover my face with my empty hands
And bow my uncrowned head.
No! Lord of the years that are left to me
I yield them to Thy hand.
Take me, make me, mold me
To the pattern Thou hast planned.

Obama's Russian Connection
Recently an open mic moment happened between our "President" Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. Oblamo has stated that he plans to further sell America down the river after the next election.
Honest-to-goodness, when first watching this video, it looks like Oblamo wants to kiss Medvedev right on the lips! Doesn't it?! Ewwww.
Thanks to Tom Fife's writings, this blog warned America that Obama's traveling and education was funded by the Russians back in October 2009. Here's more proof of that fact:
Does anyone still have any doubt that Obama is evil?

Ride Naked
and
2007 Triumph Tiger 1050
That got your attention, didn't it? [giggle]
It was with a sad heart that Hubby and I sold our precious motorbikes this past weekend. Both of us had tired of the Adventure Bike type of riding and have every intent of changing our riding styles.
The style we both hanker for is called "naked bikes". For the non-rider that means no plastic side panels on our bikes. For example like the:
Triumph Bonneville SE 870
The "Bonney" is the bike I'm seriously considering.
I was lucky enough to ride one a few months ago during the Triumph Demo Days in Orange Park, Florida.
The Demo wasn't a good one because the owners had put an off road muffler on it. It was so freakin' loud that I was hestitant about buying the bike. That was a stupid marketing move on the owners part. I'm not a 20 year old male for goodness sake. I like quiet machines. Anyway, even though they tried to ruin the experience, I still enjoyed the ride and the feeling stayed with me all these months. I like the light feeling and easy handling of the bike. It's a sweet little bike. So, Hubby and I made the leap this weekend by selling our precious duo. We've had so many adventures on these wheels. I almost cried but I feel like they both found good homes in Florida.
I could also end up with a Triumph Bonneville T100. They're very similiar except one has mag wheels and one has spoked. It's six one way and half a dozen the other.
Hubby wants a:
Moto Guzzi Breva 1100
Another "naked" bike. Easy to ride, simple to maintain, just like the "Bonney".
However, we live so far out in the boonies that we have to pipe in sunlight. The only place to buy such an animal is in Dahlonega, Georgia. That's quite a haul for us but I guess we'll have to make the trip. At least North Georgia is very beautiful, so, I don't mind having to make a trip there.
Hubby said he plans to call the Breva his Italian Mistress.
How do you say "jealous" in italian? [ha ha]

Obamacare Being Reviewed By Supreme Court
The Supreme Court will begin to hear the ObamaCare case tomorrow.
This is a call for all Christians of every faith to be praying night and day that Obamacare will be ruled unconstitutional, as it should be.

Chu On This
First, a blast from the past:
We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises. I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started. … And an enormous debt to boot!
Henry Morgenthau, Jr. - FDR Treasury Secretary, testifying before Congress, May 1939
Didn't work then. Doesn't work now.
Energy Secretary Steven Chu is laughing with delight at our high gas prices. He and the "Magic Negro" have planned this from the start.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Energy Secretary Steven Chu told a House committee today that his agency deserved "better than an A-" for its handling of gas prices and fuel standards ... [link]
I feel sick.
Knowing our bleak economy future, and that goes double for New York and California, imagine these two scenarios:
* Today's awful economy but Obama loses his re-election bid.
* A booming economy with > 7% growth and < 6% unemployment but Obama gets re-elected.
Which would you choose? I despise this bogus "leadership" with all my fiber but do want the economy to improve. Tough choice. Very few of our elected officials deserve to be re-elected. They should all be kicked out of office. There's no way the second scenario will happen with this bunch of losers at the helm. It's financially impossible because the main causes prolonging this dismal grey economy are Obama's failed policies -- primarily Big Government spending. So, sadly, there is no doubt that the second scenario could not possibly occur.
America could right this ship tomorrow with little or no further Government spending. We would just have to repeal three unconstitutional bills: Sarbanes/Oxley, Dodd/Frank and Obamacare. Regulations in those bills are hampering job creation. Duh. All it would cost to repeal them and reinstate the status quo ante would be the cost of printing the repeal bill and signing it into law.
Picture an eagle chained to the ground so he cannot hunt, weighed down with a heavy iron collar so he cannot lift his head to feed, and presented with oatmeal instead of meat. Is it any wonder such a beast would waste away and become sick? Would you express astonishment if his muscles atrophied and his skin sagged? But release him and let him hunt easy prey and will he not recover? Unless our country adopts Libertarian ideals, the eagle can not hunt and will die.
The chance for freedom is still partly in our hands. The next few months will determine if our country lives or dies.
"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have." Thomas Jefferson
