  1. Lovely photos.
    My Mexican Petunias are blooming their little hearts outs.
    Have a great week!

  2. Sparky your photos are great! What kind of camera do you have? I love the shots of the butterfly. Of course, your baby's eyes melt my heart. I've grown quite attached to my grand dogs.

  3. All right. I have to ask: How did you know the Tiger Swallowtail is a male? I enlarged the photo and looked very carefully, but can't see it.

    God bless.

  4. @Jackie ~ Mine took "forever" to bloom but it's because the (now former) Oak tree was shading that part of the house. Silly things like sunshine. Who knew?! *grin*
    @Vintage ~ Olympus 501. It's my "good camera".
    @Victor ~ It took me a good 10 minutes to stop laughing to respond. I really like your sense of humour. *giggle* Anyway, the female has multiple blue patches on the hind wings, the male hind wings are mostly black and yellow. That pearl of wisdom is compliments of my husband. I call him the walking encyclopedia he's so knowledgeable. (Kinda cute too ...)
    God bless. ~:)

  6. Your butterfly photo is pretty. My camera is hard to use to take photos of fluttering things like birds and butterflies.

  7. Wow! That is some beautiful variety! But I still think Jackie Boy wins the cute award.
