Blood-less Moon

There was a male Tom caterwallin' somewhere close by and it woke us up at 5 am. We had planned to get up early anyway to watch the "Blood Moon" lunar eclipse. This just put us to an earlier than anticipated start.

This is the first such lunar eclipse for both of us. It was pretty, in person, but there was nothing "bloody" about it nor was it very spectacular but I'm still glad we made the effort.

Did anyone else witness the eclipse?

    I hate to admit it, but I totally forgot...boo to me! Your shot of the moon was good,blood or not!

    @Linda E ~ I have to admit, I was really looking forward to seeing it turn red. What a disappointment when it didn't. I hope you're sleeping better now. Have a wonderful evening! ~:)

    Nope..it was pouring rain here this morning. Wish I had though. You can look on NASA they have the Blood Moon..I know, it's not the same.

    I usually LOVE the promised celestial events but I chose to sleep in this time around. Somehow I will have to find a way to live with that decision :)
