For My Blogging Friends Up North #Spring

This is what we're seeing right now in Southeast Georgia.

I'm not rubbing it in. Really. Just thought everyone might want a different view other than snow.

This is one our neighbor's field of mustard.

I never knew that mustard on the hoof looks so pretty.

I hope your views improve soon.

Have a great weekend folks!

  2. Well.. I can tell you, there is no snow, just rain, all the snow we did have has melted. Don't fret, suppose to get freezing rain and snow today and tomorrow, hurray, lol. Not much snow, just enough to make it slick.

ANYWAYS--Sigh..at times, I do miss the south..very pretty picture. I bet it smells nice too. (have you ever noticed that? How everything smells different in the spring?) Blessings

  4. Things are greening up around here too, Sparky. I have been enjoying the blooming bulbs we planted last fall.

  5. I think it's canola..but is kin to mustard. It won't be long and they will be picking it. They use the same machines as when they pick soy beans but they have to modify it a bit b/c the seed is so tiny.
Ben Deal was growing it over here in 2012 so I HAD TO ASK him about it....it's so beautiful! I pass the field you're talking about on my way to work.
Are y'all seeing your hummers yet? A little fella started visiting my feeders 2 weeks ago.

I'm still here..still reading your blog...
