This is our day in pictures and song ...
Burned lots of yard debris
from the storms that
passed through recently.
Lucy "helped".
My new shoes arrived.
Don't Step On My Blue Suede Shoes
Enjoying a brewsky,
serenaded by the croaking frogs
and twittering birds
while watching a fiery sunset.
How Great Thou Art (Second Stanza)
When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze;
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee; How great Thou art!
How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee;
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze;
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee; How great Thou art!
How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee;
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
AMEN!
It's nice living in the country, isn't it Sparky. I use to be way, way out in the sticks when I taught school and sure did like nature and the solitude found there. Now I still live in the country across from Lake Lincoln in Lincoln county MS. Just myself and my 3 little dogs these days as my wife has passed on. The dogs, Professor, Zena and Zuma occupy most my time. Professor is the old man (14), Zena is the lady of the house (just over 2) and the pest in the bunch is Zuma their baby (1 year old). Forgot to mention they are Shih tzu's. I know how much you love dogs. Was easy to see after visiting your other blog and the history you provided on each. Thanks for your visits to my blogs. I don't get around much to other sites, I use too, but just keeping up with the ones I have is getting harder now. Until next time, your blogging friend, Ron!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Ron! Hope you and the doggies had a wonderful weekend. God bless. ~:)
