A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow. ~ William Shakespeare
oooooooooops with 10 O's! That is wild!
Oh No! They need a series of spelling achievement tests and a spelling bee, STAT!
Just caught up. Been reading and not commenting because I spend lots of time thinking about what I will do next. Great posts. Way to go Oklahoma (The first State to make it law). I hope the rest follow quickly. Pappy
I am devotted to vissitting your blog dailly - becuz of your higgh standarrds and all.
LOL. Have a blessed day, Sparky.
I don't know if you have learned this about me but I am the world's worst speller, my mom's personal source of humility (she was an English teacher) But even I caught that one! Okay, so I checked to make sure that it did indeed need two "t's" because it might have been Colton that was misspelled or something else wrong in the pic. Amazing that the signage went through so many hands yet it was not caught. If my mother taught there she would take some red and yellow tape and turn that one "t" into two, she didn't care a wit about balance and spacing if there was a spelling or grammer error! Certainly they have changed that sign by now!
Yikes! I see this sort of thing all the time, unfortunately. I was sorting through some old papers yesterday and found a note of encouragement from a counselor at my college. It was sweet, but chock full of "oopsies!" I have a post about economies and cows I think you would like, Sparky! Come on over when you get a chance.
Thanks y'all for stopping by! Your comments keep me in stitches. :o)I'll pop over and visit ya in a minute Rosezilla. It is so pretty today I'm playing in the dirt (planting flowers). Gosh, I love Spring!Stttaay goood. ha ha
Not sure what's worse: the sign maker who didn't catch their mistake or the school 'committed' to excellence...hmmm
