Southeast Georgia Snow

Our Front Yard In The Morning Light

Can you see the heavy frost? This is usually as close as we get to snow in Southeast Georgia. It's suppose to get down to 23 degrees tonight, 16 degrees tomorrow (Friday) night! I think we'll stay inside and drink lots of hot tea.

  2. Sounds like I'll be catching up with all my bloggy friends Friday night. Time to pull out all the extra covers and maybe a movie or two.

  4. That looks exactly the same as here the past couple of mornings. Tonight is supposed to be in the teens. My youngest son lives in a little house with no heat...I'm a little worried about him. His house isn't much more than a shotgun shack...but he is proudly independent so who can knock that...he bought a space heater and tells me with his bedroom door shut at night he is toasty.

  5. He'll be OK Mom. :o) Good for him, though, he sounds like he's a chip off the 'ol wren and he's tough. Steve and I lived in an small, old house with no heat in Jacksonville, FL. We were having brutal winters then with snow and everything! We bought those kerosene heaters and used them for years before having 'real' heat installed. (We'll all pray anyway, just to be safe though.) ♥ ∞

  7. What a great shot! How beautiful! We have been in Missouri the past couple of days while our youngest graduated MP school. The wind chill was below zero! Burrr...I am not cut out for that kind of cold! LOL
