The Grape Escape

Here we go!! After much preparation and planning, The Grape Escape is here! Yay!

Reservations were made, packing was done, and I had my passport all ready as I wait for my special flight. This is my first passport, by the way. Except for visiting Canada, Mexico and Hawai'i I never been on foreign soil.

Greg showed up to fly me from my humble surroundings in Georgia to glamourous Italy. (Hubba Hubba)

Greg kinda messed up (he said I distracted him by looking in his eyes so much … aw well) and we ended up in Egypt!! Opps! My Bad! [blush]

So, we finally made it to Italy. Greg got in some reading and I caught up on some much needed rest …

... David Niven stopped by. So he and Greg squeezed in a little swimming while ....

… I took a little ride with a few of the locals … WAHOO!!!

Then y’all showed up …
OK, all these distractions had to stop and we stomped the grapes.
This is my first attempt at wine making.
Don’t worry, I washed my feet first, and it wasn’t even Saturday.

Hey, now that we’re done with the stomping, how about we tour the ruins?
Huh, can we? Huh?!
I want this to be my ride (those are Moto Guzzi‘s, by the way).

The always lovely and gracious Audrey showed up and said we had to get ready for the party … PARTY??!! OK!! There went my motorcycle tour.
Does anyone have a tiara I can borrow?
Mine is in the shop this week. (Along with my Lear Jet and Lamborghini ... yeaaaah, RIGHT!!)

I made the reservations for Vespas to convey all my bloggy friends.
Keep saying “Momentum is your friend …” and you’ll be fine.
I'll be in the rear where it's safer.

Hope you don’t mind, some of y’all may have to share.

Thought I’d better pop off a postcard to Sweetie back in the States. I already miss him so but he had to stay behind and babysit our three dogs.
(Thanks Vintage Postcards for the Picnik.com free on-line photo editing.)

Looks like this shindig has started! Might wanna hurry up ….

I’ll help pour the bubbly .. ! Let the unabashed imbibing begin!
Better keep Vodka Mom away from the bar. :o)

I haven't had this much fun since the world was young. Let’s do it again next year.
Thanks for inviting me Muse Swings.

Now if I can just find Greg so he can fly me home. I hope he doesn't take the long way around the barn again ....

Sparky! Molto Bellisimo! Pronto! I'll try the red Vespa over there! I don't own any leathers so I'll just wear my skin diving outfit. Better aerodynamics. Sans the tanks, of course. I've brought you one of Lavinia's tiaras. She won't miss it. She's got a closet full. And here's a venti sized cocktail for the road. Let's be off to see Rome! Zoom zoom zoom dahlinks!

Sparky - do you have flood insurance on these Vespas? Seems a few of them are in the Trevi Fountain....Perhaps you need to go take a look!

Agent Sparky! Where are you? Alert, Alert! Headquarts has not been able to locate you. The lipstick has a GPS device chipped in it but Madame Lavinia has been eyeing yours. Have you been compromised? Perhaps you are at your day job?

Yeah, I've been busy! I found a dark corner to rest and my shoe phone keeps ringing (or is that the wine??). (hic) I lost my escort temporarily ... was he with Lavinia ... that girl, she's too pretty, the guys all flock around her ... (giggle)

Anyway, sorry to be late posting.

It was FUN!! Let's do it again soon.

Well I think the day was a success even though all the *guests* were all over my agent ~Pierce. He'll need to go back to Basic Training tomorrow. Since you'll be on your on until the next mission I will leave you with the following information decide to accept a position on our next detail:

As an Agent of Cha Cha Security, you must work under these guidelines to be an effective operative:

Protect your identity at all costs, never de-mask during a mission, don't get followed home or to identifying vehicles, do not wear any clothing or items that may aid in identifying you.

Stay cool. Stay cool, especially when harassed. You are an ambassador of Anonymous. Although individuals trying to disrupt your mission will get on your nerves, you must not lose your temper. Doing so will threaten the mission and tarnish the reputation of Anonymous.

Always be across the street from the object being protested.
In the absence of a road, find another natural barrier between yourself and the target of the protest. Doing so will make it more difficult for individuals hostile to your cause to come and harass you.

Stay on public property. You may be charged for trespassing if you do not.

No violence, our missions are not "hot".

No weapons. This is a psy-op mission; you will not need weapons to complete your objectives. Play with their minds!

Anonymous is legion. Never be alone. Isolation during a mission marks you as a target for handlers who wish to provoke an angry reaction from you and other friendlies.

Bring water. A dehydrated, thirsty Agent is not a useful Agent.

Wear good shoes. You know, those cute strapy ones you bought today in Italy will be puuuuurfect! Following these rules will assure your comfort during the mission.

Document the mission. Videos and pictures of the event may be used to corroborate your side of the story if law enforcement should get involved. Furthermore, posting images and videos of your heroic actions all over the internet is bound to generate win, exhorting other Agents to follow your glorious example. Intelligence gathered during this mission will be extremely helpful for future engagements.

If you are captured or identified, Headquarters will deny knowledge of your existence.

If enemy operatives identify you, stay calm and call a lawyer. Document any confrontations as soon as possible for legal proceedings.

The enemy is everywhere. MOLES are among our ranks so trust no one.

Now go snuggle up with your secret agent and enjoy the crackling fire and more of Museswings vintage vino!

Commander of Headquarters

Lots of fun reading the commemtary here, Sparky! Janeen warned me that for awhile the cardinal was in my kitchen but luckily for him I wasn't home or else I'd have revealed his true identity as Dr. Kildare, the super crush of my very young years! LOL

Ciao, Pat

I will keep our secrets safe and remain CALM ... even around that delicious looking Cardinal with the playful eyes ... the one that looks like Dr. Kildare ... [heart palpitations, and giggles]. Whatever was in the wine or pate' served in Italy, has worn off and I am myself again, lipstick and comfortable shoes ready. I will wear riding togs though "just in case" a quick escape is called for (hard to ride in sandels). And even though I have a license to kill, there will be no blood shed.

Agent 000 signing off.
