"All the Way Home" (I think that's right) is a great book, about a family that buys an old basically abandoned house and fixes it up. I think it's about 30 to 40 acres. I pulled it up on the internet and it's part of a larger tract of land that ends up near our house. [sigh] They probably wouldn't sell. I want so much to just sneak up there and replant it at our place. :o) I'm real big on respecting people's property, though, and wouldn't dream of trespassing without permission. I'll have to contact the owner and ask if I can dig up that plant. Thanks for giving me the courage. <BR/>Blessings To Y'all ♥ ∞Sparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531515666554867421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5095611861780381961.post-90720614676430060912009-02-10T05:55:00.000-05:002009-02-10T05:55:00.000-05:00That truly is a beautiful, peaceful piece of prope...That truly is a beautiful, peaceful piece of property. Like you, I look at old run-down homeplaces and wonder about the people who lived there. My hubby used to get permission to dig plants from the owners of abandoned properties and each spring when they pop through the ground I wonder about those who planted and tended to them all those years. Hope you have a good day.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
