Happy New Year Y'all

Happy New Year folks!

I don't make New Year's Resolutions but if y'all do, I hope that yours can be fulfilled.

2010 is the Year Of The Tiger in the Chinese calendar. Does that mean we'll have to keep hearing about Tiger Woods?! [latest Mistress count here] Geez. Don't ya feel like saying "enough already"? [grin] I know, I know ... it's news. But is anybody else as tired of hearing about his escapades as I am? I never watch televised golf but I know it's very popular but I guess not as popular as watching someone's life flush down the toilet. It's only natural to want to gawk. But it's such a tragedy all around for his family. I feel especially sorry for his kids. They're gonna have to live with how skuzzy their dad was for the rest of their lives. Sad. Children always suffer for the sins of the father (or mother), don't they?!

I predict that 2010 is going to be another busy year, both personally and also politically.

The much anticipated Federal Census will be coming around in April. Here in the country, ours has always arrived through the mail. I'll have my list of questions for the Obamanation ready. [wink] We'll see how this pans out.

Congressional elections are in 2010. Hopefully, this year we'll replace *ALL* of the House. Top to bottom. I do pray that there will be a resurgence of citizens wanting to turn back to the Constitution. The Republicans have been weak kneed and the Demoncrats have been ... well, evil. Time to move on with new leadership, don't you think?

First planned vacation on our agenda is the much anticipated International Motorcycle Show in Greenville, SC. WE ARE SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS (can you tell??). We both live, eat, breathe motorcycles. Pictures and much whining for a new model to follow. [giggle]

Next we're planning a nice long journey to south Texas in February. The main reason for the trip is to go migratory birdwatching at Padre Island National Seashore. We LOVE to bird watch! While there, we will be visiting with what have become some of our most treasured friends the Price's. Even though we've only known one another for a little while, it's seems like we've been freinds for years. [Pappy's Place] [Carey's Corner] They are such warm hearted, right thinking, fun loving people! We're really excited about this trip.

After that, the rest of the year is up for grabs. I would still like to travel to Maine soon to visit with another one of our new friends Kirk Rogers. We met Kirk on a bird watching expedition one winter in Savannah. He takes the most spectacular photos! That's one of his photos at the top of my blog which was taken from my front porch. Pretty, isn't it? But a trip to the nether regions will have to wait until warmer weather. I'm told they only have two seasons in New England: Winter and June, so, maybe we'll go in June!

Oh, and I may take a brief sabbatical from blogging. We'll see how the news progresses. I just need to recharge my battery's with a little down time.

Well, I'm sending prayers that only good things happen to all my blogging buddies. Keep the faith and stay vigilant!

Senator Baucus Drunk On Senate Floor

Even though I've been incommunicado through Christmas, I heard about the Senate passing the ObamaSnare back to the House. I didn't cry. I'm not going to give the evil that satisfaction. I hope every last one of these people crash and burn. Next election, We The People who care about the country and personal freedom, must clean House ... and the Senate too, for that matter.

Watch this video of Sen. Buttkiss (D-Montana) The Womanizer DRUNK on the Senate floor!! Baucus couldn't have passed a breathalyzer test for sure. Montana, you're better than this. You have a lovely State with decent citizens living there. Please fire the jerk next election!

This has nothing to do with "health care" and everything to do with a power grab. It is so outrageous!

The state of our country reminds me of the Holy Scripture:

"The Rock", of course, is Jesus Christ our Lord. We stopped teaching His word to young ones and now they have no foundation to hold onto. We've allowed technology to replace faith in the one true living God.

Well, I just hope it's not too late to save the country. It's probably not the end of times but it most certainly will be the end of us as a nation if something doesn't CHANGE. I worry about my 5 year old niece and what her life will be like. May God have mercy on us for being lax in teaching His Word.

I pray that all within the sound of my blog will decide wholeheartedly to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. It is only through His innocent shed blood that covers our sins and saves us eternally from the wrath to come ... nothing else. Choose salvation before it is too late my friend! The time is now because that all we have is 'now'. This very second, this very breath. The next breath may not come. Yesterday is a memory and Tomorrow doesn't exist yet. For some people Tomorrow may never get here. Death is always stalking our mortal being. Most of us never know when we'll die. To Him, our life and our soul is precious. Please accept Him now and live with us in Heaven, forgiven, forever. Remember, you are loved and wanted. Nobody will be turned away who wants to believe.

To believe in Him, these are the following truths:
* That Jesus Christ was born of a virgin birth. He is Son of God and Son of man (less the sin) ...
* That this same Jesus who is without sin died for OUR sins on the cross and rose again on the 3rd day ...
* That Christ now sits by the right hand of God the Father making intercession for us ...
* That we are "Saved by grace, not by works" ...

All these truths will bring true peace, a contentment and a happiness that nothing worldly could ever give.

A believer can never lose one's salvation. Never. We can not EARN our salvation nor can we LOSE it and no person or organization can take it from us! My experience has been that life is frought with imperfection. In fact, life is down-right messy and many times depressing and scary. He offers salvation to all mankind through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. GOD the Father loves us, no matter what has been done in the past. Give your heart to Him and spend eternity with Him in Heaven. All He wants from all of us is Love. That's His promise and God NEVER lies.

So dear reader, trust in Him, the one true right God, Jesus Christ our Saviour. Salvation can be yours today and no one can take it from you. And always remember to do the right thing, because good does prevail. God can fix all manner of problems in our lives if we just give Him a chance. He loves you right now.

Remember, Wise Men still seek Him. :)

Sad news. This morning I received a message from "Georgia Conservatives in Action" at FaceBook.

The Senate voted to shut down the debate. Next, they vote on the bill itself. We're slowly being sold down the river by the very people who should be representing us. The morally bankrupt are leading the way to more tyranny.

So those of us who believe in freedom and don't wish to live under Communism with the soulless empty suit President Zero, need to get our ducks in a row this Christmas. Visit with loved ones. Stock pile what's needed. Get ready to go to battle. It's getting closer and, like a freight train with no one at the controls, I can't see any way to stop it.

May God have mercy and bless our endeavors to protect our Republic.

"Avatar" Just Another Anti-American Movie

Another 'save your money and buy a DVD' moment. Apparently, the new Avatar movie is not worth blowing one's hard earned American money on.

Smurf-like natives made to look like overgrown American Indians, complete with warpaint, mohawks, and long ponytails (that have computer-like USB cable tendrils in them, which can communicate with nature–ludicrous). Does that sound like earth-shattering stuff to you? They looked like Jar Jar Binks with arrowheads.

So, my advice is don't waste your money or your brain on more Hollywood sewage. Stay home and watch a nice old movie or a REAL nature show. You'll be richer in spirit and in the pocket. $$

A Call To Arms: Our Second Revolution Against Tyranny

I have many ancestors who fought in the 1st American Revolution for independence. Being an avid genealogist, I've taken the time to study many of the reasons why our brave ancestors fought the tyranny from across the big pond.

After watching the news again today, I believe it's time for those of us who know that the US Constitution is an UNFLAWED document and worthy of obedience, that we threaten disobedience to the current Federal government. It's time to DEFUND and DISOBEY any and all unconstitutional laws.

I hope y'all don't think I go around looking for things to protest because I don't. I have always obeyed the law as best I could but more than anything I enjoy being left alone. ObamaCare, Cap & Trade, the EPA, etc. is Fascism trying to take over all our lives. I am ready to draw a line in the sand and stand my ground. I pray other TeaPartiers will join me in this quiet, gentle civil disobedience.

Three Things: Mostly Healthcare Debate

This evening, I just received a notification from my local Representative, Jack Kingston (R-GA):

Confirmed: Both House, Senate Democratic Bills Increase Health Care Costs
December 14th, 2009 by Legislative Staff

Last Friday, the Obama Administration dropped a bombshell - admitting in a memo that the Senate's government takeover of health care would increase the cost of health care. This is just the latest report which confirms that both the House and Senate health care bills don't bend the cost curve down as the President and his Democratic allies in Congress have repeatedly claimed.

Richard S. Foster, the chief actuary of the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said Friday that under Mr. Reid's bill national health spending from 2010 to 2019 would total $35.5 trillion. That is $234 billion, or 0.7 percent, more than the amount projected under current law, he added¦ Republicans said Mr. Foster's report confirmed what they had been saying for months.

The Obama Administration has already admitted that the House health care bill will increase health care costs. In an October memo from the Obama Administration's Chief Actuary for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Richard Foster, estimated that Total national health expenditures under [H.R. 3200] would increase by an estimated 2.7 percent in calendar year 2019. Over the next 10 years, CMS predicts overall national health expenditures will jump by 2.1 percent, or $750.3 billion. And the independent, non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) agreed with the CMS analysis, as the Washington Post noted recently: the House bill, the CBO said, would push federal spending higher.

So what do the Democrats' health care bills actually accomplish? The following chart makes it plain: the Democrats are aiming for a government takeover of health care, and both the House and Senate bills would accomplish that goal.

This bogus 'health care' bill, if it passes and if it still has the Public Option, will cost married couples unbelievable amounts of money in premiums.

Marriage Penalty Hidden in Health Care Reform.

For instance, in the House version, an unmarried couple each making $30,000 a year would pay $1,320 combined each year for private health insurance. If that couple chose to marry, their premium would jump to $12,000 a year, a difference of $10,680.

I can't afford THAT!! Who can? I guess they'll just have to arrest me for not having insurance which I already have from retirement. Gosh, what a mess!!!

(NOTE 9:32PM: Atlas Shrugs claims that the Public Option and Medicare Buy-In are dead. Let's hope and pray that everything else is soon DEAD too!)

And, finally DeMint warns of 'emergency rally'

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) is putting Capitol Hill on a "Code Red" alert Tuesday in an effort to stop the Senate's health care reform legislation.

I think he's calling for a march on Capital Hill tomorrow! Works for me. I say we need a real old-fashioned revolt.

In closing:

These heinous legislations have crawled up from the pits of hell and are spewing out of the mouth of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid monster. Throw in Cap & Trade, the EPA's power hungry grab, etc. and we are headed for a real show-down. I pray that none of these unconstitutional bills pass. It will wreck havoc on our already fragile economy and possibly cause another Civil War.

A Rasmussen Early Christmas Gift

No wonder the Demoncrats hate the Rasmussen polls. They leave out the bozos who don’t bother voting. In other words, they only want to tally people who are registered voters and thus might actually have some effect on election outcomes. How elitist of Rasmussen to leave out the lazy. How dare they!? Obviously he hasn’t read the Demoncrat cheat sheet: everybody counts, even those who don’t know jack squat and can’t bother getting up out of the chair to vote.

On the other hand, I can see their point: with ACORN around to raise the dead for voting, the Demoncrats don’t need to bother with reality. Fraud is so much more reassuring and predictable.

Well, good news folks, The Rasmussen polls show that the Obamanation's popularity is plummeting like a rock.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19.

Today is the second straight day that Obama’s Approval Index rating has fallen to a new low. Prior to the past two days, the Approval Index had never fallen below -15 during Obama’s time in office.

Looks like the The Great Unwashed (as I'm sure politicans refer to us as) are starting to really pay attention. I guess it took 17% of the population being unemployed, numerous tax increases, and the threat of rationed healthcare to wake 'em up. Well, whatever. I'm glad folks are getting on board. Welcome to the fray y'all!

And thanks Rasmussen for telling the truth! This makes me very, very happy ... :)

Honda’s CB Twister Motorcycle

It's hard to tell from my blog, but the majority of my life does not revolve around politics. Most of the time I talk about anything with 2 wheels.

In fact, happily most of our life revolves around motorcycles.

I just had to share this one with y'all.

My husband found an article on the Honda CB Twister while perusing one of his favorite websites Motorcycle News. The bike is a 110cc single-cylinder and sells for about £550 (if my currency convertor is accurate, that's about $803.74 in American money). And at 186 mpg, this little number is a cheap date. It's really popular in India:

"In the first quarter of this year, for example, Honda sold 1,118,987 bikes India."

It's not fair, they get all the cool bikes overseas. :)

Sunday Thoughts And A Humble Prayer Request

Jesus answered "I am the way, the truth and the Life.
No man comes unto the Father except by Me .." (John 14:6)
Our country is in a terrible quagmire. We have no strong, moral leadership. Our country is historically and spiritually in it's "feet of clay" (Daniel 2:31-32). True, it could get worse. Cap and Trade is essentially dead ... Praise the Lord Jesus for this mercy ... but if ObamaCare passes in any form, it will get worse.

I see only two possible scenerios if the hell inspired Health 'care' passes.

1) People accept it like sheep and live in the torments of hell they created. There is despair and gnashing of teeth for the lack of courage to 'change' events. The economy finally collapses with no hope of recovery.

~ or ~

2) People take up their arms, march on Washington and remove those in power that we have created ... forever. Either a new age of enlightenment begins or we degress even further into despair for not following the US Constitution. We must return to the teachings of the Constitution and God's Holy word.

Because "... a little leven levens the whole lump." (Galatians 5:9)

Our Senators are meeting all weekend with the Dear Leader (you know, the one that HATES AMERICA). Please y'all pray that these demon inspired bills that slithered up from the pits SHALL NOT PASS!

Our freedoms are a delicate, living thing. We can not squash them repeatedly without paying dire consequences.

Hope? Yes, there's always hope. As long as we breathe, there's always hope.

Real 'hope', not the Audicity of a Dope.

WITNESS for Jesus Christ that the lost may know the true meaning of 'care' and turn away from these false masters.

GIVE to our neighbors our love, our prayers, our warm and kindly thoughts.

PRAY without ceasing for our nation and our leaders.

This will bring about real 'change' that will please the Lord God and blessings will flow accordingly.

Are you ready for the Bizarro World Report?

The Committee On Oversight and Government Reform reports that the Bureau of Engraving and Printing is paying it's own employees to return stolen government property!!

"Angry employees at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing say the cash-strapped agency is giving taxpayer money to government employees to return government printers. At least 534 mostly senior bureau employees have individual printers to ensure that sensitive documents -- related mostly to personnel issues -- don't end up in the wrong hands. But now the agency wants them back and plans to give employees a $75 gift card to turn them over."

HUH??!!!! Who is the bright boy that thought up this little scam?

I can't make this stuff up folks. This is so wrong I don't have enough words to describe it.
