Questions We Want Obama To Answer NOW!

Just A Conservative Girl very graciously posted these at her web site recently. I am busier than a one-armed paperhanger today, so, I just cut and pasted the list for y'all in case you missed Glenn's show last Friday.

We are fighting for our very economic lives here folks. Gosh, I hope everyone is paying attention. I'm not doing this because I like politics (I don't) but want deseperately for our country to be saved from this evil presence in the White House.

And remember folks, the Federal census is coming in April. For goodness sake, don't complete it! I'm only filling out our names and ages ... THAT'S IT!! Not even race. I really think Obama and his Marxists minions are going to use that to start rounding people up for internment camps. God help you if you're white, Christian and/or Jew. You could get locked up like F.D. Roosevelt did to the American-Japanese in World War II. FDR was another tyrant who spit on the Constitution.

- What role did the Apollo Alliance play in crafting bills?

- Does the President know the co-founder of the Weather Underground is a board member of the Apollo Alliance?

- How many people in the administration are connected to the movement for a democratic society?

- What role does George Soros play... CONSTITUTIONALLY?

- Our unfunded liability for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid is close to $100 trillion. Is there any way to pay for these programs without bankrupting America?

- We are in so much debt, why spend more borrowed money on cap-and-trade and healthcare programs before we stop the flow of red-ink?

- The stimulus package funneled billions of dollars to ACORN. How does giving billions of dollars to ACORN stimulate the economy?

- Why are citizens mocked and laughed at when they ask their congressman to read the bills before they vote on them?

- Was the cash-for-clunkers program meant to save the earth or the economy?

Did it accomplish either?

- How did Van Jones, a self-proclaimed communist become a special advisor to the president?

- Did President Obama know of Van Jones’ radical political beliefs when he named him special advisor?

- The Apollo Alliance claimed credit for writing the stimulus bill—why was this group allowed to write any portion of this bill?

- If politicians aren’t writing the bills and aren’t reading the bills, do they have any idea what these 1000 page plus bills actually impose on the American people?

- If the ‘public option’ health care plan is so good why won’t politicians agree to have that as their plan?

- If town hall meetings are intended for the politicians to learn what’s on our mind—why do they spend so much time talking instead of listening?

- Politicians are refusing to attend town hall meetings complaining, without evidence, that they are scripted. Does that mean we shouldn’t come out and vote for you since every campaign stop, baby kiss and speech you give is scripted?

- Why would you want to overwhelm the system?

- Is using the economic crises to rush legislation through congress what Rahm Emanuel meant when he talked about "not letting a crises go to waste"?

- What are the czars paid? What is the budget for their staffs/offices?

Let us all question with boldness. This is a government of "We the People" it is time that they answer to the people.

If you get a chance to attend a town hall soon, ask some of these questions and report on the answers that you get. I am interested in hearing the answers.

THE ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE OBAMACARE

As a physician who has authored books on preventative health care, I was given the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at a Congressional Dinner at The Capitol Building in Washington last Friday (7/17).

The presentation was entitled Health Care Reform, The Power & Profit of Prevention, and I was gratified that it was well received.

In preparation for the presentation, I read the latest version of "reform" as authored by The Obama Administration and supported by Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid. Here is the link to the 1,018 page document.

Let me summarize just a few salient points of the above plan. First, however, it should be clear that the same warning notice must be placed on The ObamaCare Plan as on a pack of cigarettes: Consuming this product will be hazardous to your health.

The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care. There is no focus on preventing health care need whatever. The plan's method is the most inhumane and unethical approach to cutting costs I can imagine as a physician.

The rationing of care is implemented through The National Health Care Board, according to the plan. This illustrious Board "will approve or reject treatment for patients based on the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment."

Translation ... if you are over 65 or have been recently diagnosed as having an advanced form of cardiac disease or aggressive cancer ... dream on if you think you will get treated ... pick out your coffin.

Oh, you say this could never happen? Sorry ... this is the same model they use in Britain.

The plan mandates that there will be little or no advanced treatments to be available in the future. It creates The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research, the purpose of which is "to slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce costs." Yes, this is to be the law.

The plan also outlines that doctors and hospitals will be overseen and reviewed by The National Coordinator For Health Information and Technology.

This "coordinator" will "monitor treatments being delivered to make sure doctors and hospitals are strictly following government guidelines that are deemed appropriate." It goes on to say ... "Doctors and hospitals not adhering to guidelines will face penalties."

According to those in Congress, penalties could include large six figure financial fines and possible imprisonment.

So according to The ObamaCare Plan ... if your doctor saves your life you might have to go to the prison to see your doctor for follow-up appointments. I believe this is the same model Stalin used in the former Soviet Union. [my emphasis]

Section 102 has the Orwellian title, "Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage." What this section really mandates is that it is illegal to keep your private insurance if your status changes - e.g., if you lose or change your job, retire from your job and become a senior, graduate from college and get your first job. Yes, illegal.

When Mr. Obama hosted a conference call with bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible, a blogger from Maine referenced an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance.

He asked: "Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?" Mr. Obama replied: "You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about." [Ok, Obama, then who the heck is you commie dirt bag!?]

Then there is Section 1233 of The ObamaCare Plan, devoted to "Advanced Care Planning." After each American turns 65 years of age they have to go to a mandated counseling program that is designed to end life sooner.

This session is to occur every 5 years unless the person has developed a chronic illness then it must be done every year. The topics in this session will include, "how to decline hydration, nutrition and how to initiate hospice care." It is no wonder The Obama Administration does not like my emphasis on Prevention. For Mr. Obama, prevention is the "enemy" as people would live longer.

I rest my case. The ObamaCare Plan is hazardous to the health of every American.

After I finished my Capitol Hill presentation, I was asked by a Congressman in the question-answer session: "I'll be doing a number of network interviews on the Obama Health Care Plan. If I am asked what is the one word to describe the plan what should I answer."

The answer is simple, honest, direct, analytical, sad but truthful. I told him that one word is FASCIST. [I like this Doctor very much!!]

Then I added, "I hope you'll have the courage to use that word, Congressman. No other word is more appropriate."

BTW, for some of you who have not been watching the Glenn Beck show on Fox News this week, he brought something to my attention that I never thought of. Did you know that if Obama didn't write this or other bills, and none of our Senators or Congressmen wrote these bills (since they haven't read them we assume they are not guilty of this), who is writing these facist bills they are trying to pass on the American public??! You know who? One of them is the avowed Maxist Facist Radical Mr. Van Jones, for one. And many other of the Obama appointed "Czars" are avowed Marxists.

The Czars eco-skelton that's going to take over our government at the first sign of weakness.

A New Madam Trillion Dollar Deficit

I guess you hear that Madam Deficit (i.e. His Royal Lowness Obama) has declared that our national debt has been bumped up to $9 TRILLION DOLLARS!? And they want to take control of our health care??!!

I'm a bit of an amateur historian. This morning we watched the special on History International called "The French Revolution" (1789–1799). The show explained how the politically impudent King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette where overthrown by the common people. In a nut shell, it's how the nobility lived high on the hog, the cost of flour sky rocketed from high taxes and famine causing the average people to starve to death. The economy was in shambles.

Having had enough, the down trodden people called for "an enlightenment" and stampeded the government, taking it apart (literally) brick by brick.

It was the end of monarchies in France, but it led from one tyranny to another.

There's a lot of parallels between what happened in pre-French Revolution and what's happening here now.

Our country is deeply (irrevocably?) in debt. We feel like our politicians are NOT listening to us. Even my beloved Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) who has faithfully voted against the Pres. George W. Bush 'stimulus' plan, has been making some statements about this Healthcare debacle that really has me riled. Now he feels like he can school us on how to eat to reduce costs!? "Excuse me!? Get the heck out of my life Jack!" I'm tired of others thinking that they are better than us and can tell us how to live.

I very much fear that because of the ineptitude's of this administration and the previous one, we are heading for another Civil War.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope you'll join me in prayer that our 'revolution' will be a velvet one ... peaceful and lawful. We still have the Constitution of the United States. I believe in this documents words with all my heart because it reflects God's word in it's equalities and common sense.

I believe this so wholeheartedly that I've ordered at my own expense 50 pocket US Constitutions to carry around and hand out to those interested. They are available from The Heritage Foundation.


Be careful, you politians, that you don't utter "Let them eat cake" for I fear this will cause many to storm the gates and demand some heads on a stick next elections.

Now Frommer's Calling Us Names!

As all my friends know, I'm a strong pro-carry person. I always carry a gun, even on the motorcycle. It's everyone's right as a law abiding American Citizen to be armed. I think this is especially important for women to be properly protected. There's been a couple of times that simply a quick branishing of the weapon has kept a possible 'perp' from getting out of hand.

Now it seems that Arthur Fromer of Frommer's Travel Guides, thinks that because I, and many other patriotic citizens, carry weapons we are "thugs" and "extremists". Well, I take exception to that and am deeply offended. I will never use his travel books again! And we travel frequently.

Just thought y'all might want to know about this little development.

PHOENIX — Travel icon Arthur Frommer says he won't be spending his tourism dollars at the Grand Canyon, or anywhere else in Arizona, because the state's laws allow people he described as "thugs" and "extremists" to openly carry firearms.

The author of budget-travel guides said on his blog Wednesday that he was "shocked beyond measure" by reports that protesters openly carried guns and rifles outside a Phoenix building where President Barack Obama spoke on Monday.

Frommer says he won't personally travel in a state where civilians carry loaded weapons as a means of political protest.

Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon says he spoke with Frommer Thursday and invited him to visit the city to clear up any possible misconceptions about safety.

George Soros has funded all this liberal enterprises like ACORN.

Our prayers are being heard! I have been on a self-imposed 'fasting' and praying stint for our country and situation. Please, keep praying dear Saints in Christ! God loves us SO MUCH and hears our prayers! He is working miracles. Even though our country certainly doesn't deserve mercy for allowing the murder of untold thousands of unborn and other things, Jesus is graciously showing great compassion to us.

The Lesser-Magistrate Doctrine

I received this in an e-mail from my husband last night. Isn't that funny? We sit right next to each other with our seperate labtops and he sends me an e-mail! How modern is that!? [lol]

This is a good read folks. Very, very encouraging. I feel like, if we keep spreading the good word and having Hope there will be a happy resolution. We will not tolerate any fascism that Mr. Obuma and his thugs keep trying to force on the American people.


The Lesser-Magistrate Doctrine:
A Sword Against Unjust Edicts and Tyranny

Many Americans seem to know that America's founders gave us three boxes through which we can resist tyranny, namely - the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box. But a lesser-known tool which the founders themselves employed is the lesser-magistrate doctrine.

Simply put, the lesser-magistrate doctrine declares that - when a magistrate, who is lower in authority than another higher authority, opposes and/or resists the unjust orders or laws of the higher authority, he is justified in doing so and his actions are morally right, proper, and legitimate.

For example, if Congress or the President makes an unjust or immoral edict, a state legislature or the governor could stand in defiance of their unjust edict and refuse to obey or implement it. They could in fact actively oppose it. Or for that matter, a city council or mayor could act in defiance or opposition of an unjust edict by a higher authority.

The lesser-magistrate doctrine became important to Christian men during the Reformation, though it had been spoken of and practiced prior to that by Christians. For example, the Magna Carta was written by a group of barons (lesser-magistrates) who had the tyrant King John of England sign it in the year 1215 at Runneymede, which is located southwest of London.

This great document which stands in defiance of tyranny and oppression by making clear that the State has limitations and that all are subject to the law – people and state officials alike - was penned by Christian men.

Calvin spoke of the lesser-magistrate doctrine in his Institutes of the Christian Religion. Amazingly, he did not appeal to Scripture in his support of it, rather he appealed to pagan historical examples. But other Reformers did give a Scriptural foundation to the doctrine.

John Knox for example, in his Appellation written to the nobles of Scotland in 1558, cites many passages to support the doctrine. Knox wrote his appellation (appeal) to the nobles because the Roman church had condemned him and burned him in effigy. He wrote to declare to the nobles, as lesser-magistrates, their responsibility in protecting the innocent and opposing those who had made unjust decrees.

Knox makes it clear that it is the duty of lesser-magistrates to resist the tyranny of chief magistrates when the chief magistrate exceeds his God-given authority or actually makes declarations which are in rebellion to the law of God.

He exhorts the nobles (lesser-magistrates) in his Appellation, "You are bound to correct and repress whatsoever you know him (the higher magistrate) to attempt expressly repugning to God's word, honor, glory, or what you shall espy him to do against his subjects great or small."

Some of the Scripture texts Knox cites to expound on the lesser-magistrate doctrine are Daniel 3; I Kings 12; II Kings 11; and Jeremiah 26:10-16; 36:9-31; 37:11- 21 & 39:7-10.

The lesser-magistrate doctrine had a huge impact upon the thinking of our founders, and upon our nation's people regarding government and law. We however live in the midst of a statist, slave-like people where such thinking has long been forgotten. The magistrates themselves know nothing of this doctrine today because the pulpits have long been silent regarding it.

If ever this nation needs to understand the lesser-magistrate doctrine, it is now. Immoral and unjust edicts are commonplace. The preborn are being murdered, and sodomy is being proliferated. The assault upon our freedom and liberties is a daily undertaking by those in high office. The attacks upon the law of God are ferocious and relentless.

In our nation today, the State has declared good to be evil and evil to be good. The lesser-magistrate has a duty before God to uphold the good regardless of the new definitions created by the State.

We must remember that all authority is delegated. No man who holds State office rules autonomously. The authority he has is delegated to him by God. Hence, all those in positions of authority stand accountable to God. This is why the practice of the church historically has been – when the State commands that which God forbids or forbids that which God commands, we have a duty to obey God rather than man. The Bible clearly teaches this principle.

The lesser-magistrate is to apply this principle to his office as magistrate. When an unjust edict is made by a higher authority, the lesser-magistrate must choose to either join the higher magistrate in his rebellion against God, or stand with God in opposition to the unjust edict.

As our nation sinks more and more into rebellion and depravity, the lesser-magistrate doctrine needs to be taught more than ever. May the Lord grant us the strength and favor to do so.

Sheriff Mack On "Treasure's Lost"

I received the video below from a blogging buddy today and thought y'all might wanna hear this also.

Sheriff Mack is the former sheriff of Graham County, Arizona. To quote him from his web site "Right now, it is vital that we restore the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. The greatest threat we face today is not terrorists; it is our own federal government. If America is conquered or ruined it will be from within, not a foreign enemy."

He certainly is a man with courage in my book. I have been so concerned about what's going to happen if/when ACORN or the EPA show up on our property, armed and dangerous. Under the Cap and Trade and other bills, this will be legal! ACORN will also be used to take the Federal Census! ACORN!! The Left hand of the Democratic party. I'm not makin' this stuff up folks. Hubby and I have discussed the possibility of these events at the supper table and decided we are going to fight to defend our homes and lives. We not lawbreakers, never have been, but this is a hill we will die on.

May God richly bless any and all Sheriff's and their officers who will also fight to protect our rights in the coming days ahead. Please feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested. I've burned some to DVD's and will share with our police department.
